Ten New Year Resolutions
for Clothing Care

I will always follow clothing care instructions.

I will air out my clothes, remove all jewelry or pins, and inspect for stains before putting them away.

I will immediately treat stains properly, so they do not set permanently.

I will repair small problems, such as a loose seam opening, right away.

I will not crowd clothes in my closet, so they do not wrinkle unnecessarily.

I will use good quality hangers to support my clothes and keep them in shape.

I will fold knits and place in a drawer or on shelves.

I will not store my clothes in the bags from the drycleaner.

I will clean my seasonal clothing before storing, so the insects will not have a feast.

I will store my seasonal clothes in an area with proper air ventilation, moisture control and light exposure.
