Anyone in need of a coat will have
one...
With the public’s help and over 250 schools joining
in the collection efforts, the 2006-2007 Coats for Kids
drive ended on January 15, 2007 with one coat shy of a remarkable
57,000 coats collected. In its 12 year history, Coats for
Kids has collected, cleaned and distributed a total of 429,120
warm winter coats to families throughout New England.
Our Promotional Partners, FOX25, Boston Bruins and Jordan’s
Furniture along with our Distribution, Supporting and Corporate
Partners played an instrumental role in the success of this
year’s drive.
Applause for School Rewards™
winners!
All participating elementary and middle schools competed
for school furnishings and special events. To level the
playing field for schools of all sizes, winners are chosen
on the basis of the number of coats collected per students
