Anyone in the need of a coat will have one...Now in its 14th year, Coats for Kids, a community service project sponsored by Anton’s Cleaners, a clothing care company with 44 store locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, begins accepting gently used, warm kids, adult and baby sized winter coats on October 1, 2008.Our distribution partners including Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Mass Bay, Salvation Army, Lowell Wish Project, MA Coalition for the Homeless, Cradles to Crayons, Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Children, and MASSCAP, among others, will be providing coats to those in need. We are pleased to once again have FOX25, Comcast Spotlight, WROR and Jordan’s Furniture as Promotional Partners. Since 1994, almost 500,000 winter coats have been distributed, thanks to our collection, promotional, supporting and distribution partners. We Need Your HelpRegister your school, company or organization to participate in the 2008 Coats for Kids collection drive!Join us in our efforts to collect 60,000 quality winter coats by donating good, quality, warm wearable kids, adult and baby sized winter coats to any Anton’s Cleaners or Jordan’s Furniture store location between October 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. Please do not donate coats that have rips, tears, missing buttons, broken zippers and/or permanent stains. We need high quality, warm winter coats that you would give a friend to wear.
